National Film Award Winners 2023

The 69th National Film Awards were presented on  August 24, 2023, in New Delhi. The much-coveted prizes of the entertainment industry, which were established in 1954, are administered by the Government of India's Directorate of Film Festivals. 

Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in Pushpa, whereas Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi respectively. 

The national award for best film is bagged by Rocketry which is based on the life story of ISRO Scientist Nambi Narayanan as the Kashmir Files won the award for Best National Integration. 

Home was selected as the best Malayalam film and the Malayalam veteran actor Indrans won a Special Jury Mention for his performance in Home. 

Shahi Kabir won the Best Screenplay award for Naayat and Vishnu Mohan won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Newcomer Director for his film Mepadiyaan.
