This post lists all five National Sports and Adventure Awards presented by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2021.
Last year, 12 athletes received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, while 35 athletes received the Arjuna Award.
These awards are given out on a yearly basis to recognize and honor athletic accomplishments. The National Sports Awards 2021 comprise the following categories:
- Arjuna Award
- Dronacharya Award
- Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar
- Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Trophy.
- Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award & Dhyan Chand Award for Lifetime Achievement in Sports and Games
