Golden Globes Awards 2022 Complete List of Winners

The 79th Golden Globe Awards were held in Beverly Hills as a private affair this year. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the organisation behind the Golden Globe awards, opted to host the annual ceremony and red carpet event without a traditional ceremony and red carpet event.

This year's programme was not televised by long-time broadcaster NBC, and the winners were revealed via social media.

With seven nominations each, Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog, a Western psychological drama and Kenneth Branagh's semi-autobiographical coming-of-age feature Belfast headed the list. Succession, an HBO satire series, earned five nominations.

With three prizes apiece, The Power of the Dog, West Side Story, and Succession emerged as the big victors.

For the first time, a trans actress, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez has been nominated Best Actress in a Drama Series and Oh Young Soo from "Squid Game" make history by becoming the first Korean actor to win Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes.
